80,000 miles

i have only had the car for 20000 miles so new will be cool. purchased it from a friend they got it new. well i hope i can do most of it and get it done for less than $500. is that doable?

and if i replace my struts do i have to replace my springs also?
never had a car with both. i am more of a truck person. leafs and torsion bars. lol

Get quick struts they are bolt in with new mounting plates and all. When your struts are bad more than likely the mounts are bad too.

well i will call it my Christmas and birthday present to myself and my car. and maybe after i am done i can do a 80000 mile tune up right up.

stupid question: these cars dont have to get distributor and rotor replaced with the wires and plugs does it? does it even have them?

i had it checked a few moths back and it was out a little but but they said i had to get some bolts for it because the ones in the car are not adjustable. and the bolts cost more than the alignment.

so who agrees that i am going to have to spend a lot of money to do every thing for my 80000-100000 mile tune up ? sounds like it to me.

Its a good idea to put up a camber kit on it too before doing the alignment. I got a set of Ingles Performance camber kit +/- 3 degrees and did put it on myself. its a easy job just need some tools. once u put up the alignment rack if they say you need to adjust camber, they quote like 200bucks a side. Firestone did quote me something like that. i was like noway im paying 800bucks for a 1.5degree unbranded camber kit when i can get it done myself. lolz.
