• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

But for realz, go to Advance Auto or Auto Zone or someplace, buy some Silver Met Base Coat and the matching Anodized Red Top Coat and prep and prime and paint a piece of metal and once dried, step out in the sun light.

If it doesn't please you, come back and we'll re-group.

I have pics of some parts on my car, but it does NO justice to the true color in the sun, its a thing of beauty and with a couple coats of red on top it can get pretty deep, but the metallic still shines through.

Ones like these. Don't trust the red cap... it lies!

Top 3 pics are right after they were painted and re-installed. But again, they don't do justice to the real color.

i want a darker red, more of a maroon. hense the term "brickhouse".

i'm thinking i'm okay if the red isn't that sparkley, but i want the tank and fender to have some flake/depth to 'em.

Stronger, doesn't tend to fade, crack, or chip.

Relatively cheap in most instances compared to custom paint (unless you are painting yourself)

yeah, i'm thinking something like that on the wheels. haven't gotten around to finding a color for the tank, though.

my paint guy dropped off his paint scratch books for me today so i sat around this afternoon holding a book up in the sunlight and looking at some killer colors.

picked out three, two GM and one fiat.

1) GM - 707S/709S/GGW - Dark Labyrinth Gray Effect
2) GM - 840T/GLZ - Magic Red
3) Fiat - KWT,PWT - Diamond White Crystal

the dark gray is for the gas tank and fender. the red is for the wheels. the white is a maybe color, potentially for a couple small accents on the tank/fender.

How different is the Fiat Diamond White Crystal compared to GMs White Diamond Pearl?

WA800J is the paint code for the GM one.
