Can I fit 6x9 speakers in my doors and still have the speaker cover fit over it? My front speakers are going out and I found some on craigslist close to me so I was wondering I'd anyone has done this. Thanks

You want to fit 9" under a what? 6" grill? I don't know a whole ton about speakers, so maybe that's a silly thing to point out. But I thought it might be something interesting to think about.

Well, the speaker covers are attached to the door panels themselves... so, with custom baffles, and perhaps some trimming for clearance, it could be done. I don't think it'd be worth it, but it could be done.

Alright thanks guys I'm just gonna wait a couple extra weeks then get some of the 5.25 sony xplod speakers because my head unit it the Sony xplod one. And I like how it sounds so hopefully the same speakers will handle what it dishes out because the stock didn't for very long.

How loud are you turning the headunit up? You may have clipped the stockers to death... and clipping can kill anything. In any case, have fun upgrading :)

X2 for the 5.25"

You can get a nice set of rockford fosgate primes for less than $60.
Sonicelectronix.com Free shipping on all orders :)

I usually don't have them too loud but i have the equalizer on the xplod setting on the face plate and it has a lot of bass. and these sony xplod 5.25 are at bestbuy for $42 so ill take it

Yes, this too. A friend of mine is going to sell me a sing 10'' sub. I just need an amp for it. How big does an amp have to be for a single 10'' Sub? Any recommendations?

I have pioneer bluetooth HU with stock speakers(none blown) and a single 10" sub. The sub says 350rms and my amp is a 300w rockford fosgate. This setup is nice for me all my bass is through the sub and I have the interior speakers set at -1 bass on the settings. It hits hard and has great sound quality, plus I have the remote bass knob adjuster for the amp. Oh and when the kids are not with me I lower the pass through door for moar bass. Good luck with whatever you go with.

That depends very much upon the sub, and enclosure. Some 10s do great on 200 whereas some do great on 2000 lol.
