I'm sure news has spread... $50 million won by a group of 19 call centre workers at Bell. Well, I also work for Bell, in the same building as the winners! And... on our floor we also play the same lottery with the same 20-ish people every week.

From what I hear, they were playing $20 each every week which together reduced their odds down to about 1:350,000. I tell you, now I know that the whole "winning the lottery" thing actually does happen to real people. I'll keep playing every chance I get, but I'm still not going to go broke doing it. Remember, even 1 in 350,000 odds = 99.9997% chance you will LOSE!
 


Im surprised the dumbass manager would allow that to happen, now they have to search for a whole new team...

the chance of winning that lottery is probably well lower than 1 in fourteen million.

I love the fact that lotteries can be taxed as income in the states though...
 


2 of them are managers... I think the gov't here still takes half tho. There are a couple people claiming they were supposed to be in on it, so now the Lotto has to investigate before anyone gets anything. I smell a lawsuit coming...:th_shakinghead2: They all still work here. Makes you realize two things. 1. real people really do win the lottery. 2. It can ruin your life when everyone you know wants a piece of it.:th_sinister:
