I'm planning on upgrading my three button DIC to a five button one. My GP is a 2007 base model with the TPMS. I'm having trouble finding a unit from a 07-08 with the TPMS but have seem many 04-06 without it. I've heard that 07-08 DIC's will give you an error when put in a 04-06 car because the sensors wont be in the tires but what about the other way around? I'm wondering if there will be any issues putting a 04-06 DIC into my 07. I understand that I will lose the ability to see the tire pressure in each tire but that doesnt really matter to me. Will there be any annoying warning lights or faults?
