• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

4THGEN'S Failstar

Well if they'd put quality things in the car that kinda logic wouldn't exist. Me, I'm all for all the bells and whistles. If I had Austin's car I'd be tinkled pink.

But for now, I'll just be enthused by the dic, sunroof, and ass warmer. -_-

The majority are quality parts. Modules rarely ever go bad on these. Suspension parts wear out just like a normal car. The crappy crank sensors are more so Siemen's fault. They sent out a bad batch and by the time issues started showing up they'd been putting them in Sevilles for 4 years. Plus the Devilles, GXP Bonne's, Aurora's etc for idk how long.
The headgasket issue was basically completely resolved in 2004 after the final revision of the head bolts.

I will admit though these are picky cars, especially if you don't want to maintain them properly.

I had a set of those on a Prelude in the winter...worked very well.
Finally got some snow....took the car out just to test out the tires...did pretty damn good IMO. Have to gvie pretty decent throttle to break them loose...and have to purposely lock the tires to get the ABS to kick in.

Got rid of the HID Hi beam idea. Getting 9011 HIR bulbs instead. Output is 2500 lumens at 12.8 volts. Figure around 13.8-14.2 its prob 2700-2800 lumens. My factory HID low's are 3200 lumens. I'll sacrafice 400 lumens and only spend 17 bucks per bulb instead of 150 for a quality TRS kit.
Also ordered the secondary AIR pump.

Well the crank sensor issue is resolved. New secondary air pump is in. Kept blowin the hose off the valve. Threw a clamp on it and it's good now so whatever. Ummmm that's about it.

It loves the cold....pulls pretty damn good for a 4,000lb car.

Finally got some real snow. Between how heavy this car is and the tires, it does awesome.

last good snow we had my wheels packed with snow just like your are there. then i parked it.

next day they were frozen solid in there, so i drove it, 3 spokes cleared out on one front wheel on the high way, i had to pull over and clear the rest of the spokes. the front end was bouncing hard.

Out of all the Cadillac's through the years, I loved the style on the Seville the most. (and the new E-class...I mean CTS looks good too)

The Seville is literally prob my favorite styled Cadillac. I miss mine. I saw it the other day lol. The new CTS's I like and love the interior. But driving one it just feels too small. The Seville has a sense of openness to it.
