FWIW I told mechanic Dan about how you wanted to pull out the top for the engine swap. He said..it's simply and totally not possible. We giggled, because now he made a mistake of taking on a Chrysler Pacifica trans swap w/o looking it up in the book. It's a cradle drop.
 


Ok jut got off the phone with a friend that has the factory wiring diagrams. He's telling me the brakes don't even run through the multifunction switch. Which makes sense to me because the brakes and blinkers have their own bulbs. The blinkers and brakes don't run off the same bulb so there's no reason for the brakes to go through that switch. Soooooooo.
 
the button on the brake pedal, does it have power to it? if that car is so equipped...... it should have something up there.

ive seen the button not opening up in older cars. the button should close when off the brakes. the button opens when pushing the pedal, and that make the brake lights come on.
 


Ok. Not sure what's up with that other diagram. But here's a better one. I understand this one just fine. Fuse #19 has power, BUT there's no power at the switch.

that will add to the confusion for sure.

is the abs light on? it runs past that after the brake switch. and that cruise control as you were talking about earlier.

and the tail light sockets, do they have a ground wire back there like the diagram kinda shows? maybe they are rusty if that how it is.

or maybe the connectors are dirty, its says connector all over lol.
 


those are showing more fuses, under the hood too. id see about having the ebc tested, or have the abs scanned to see whats wrong with the abs, maybe its got something to do with the brake lights.
 


The ABS runs off the same #19 fuse according to the schematic in post 87. That's why the ABS is having issues. The TCS is just a result of the ABS acting up.

I wanna say it's pin #9 on the EBCM connector that provides power to the EBCM. It gets power from two source I believe. One from the #19 fuse under the back seat and one from the box under the hood(not sure what fuse)

The buddy that read me off the schematic last night think it's the splice pack, SP302 shown in post 87. While I do believe that could be it, that doesn't explain the lack of power at the connector.
