4t65e slip?

so for the past few weeks, ive been noticing when i take ONLY an left turn, while getting on the throttle, my tranny slips out and revs until i let off again, it doesnt happen on a right turn or a stop light. i was thinking my diff could be
going out? or if the filter is clogged on one part? the fluid is not burnt, and its not low. ANY help would be great!!!

Wrong section ugly just sayin.......BTW pretty sure a mod will move this to the tran section.

I still thing its your diff thats causing the problems and you need to start by changing fluid and filter!

These transmissions are known for starving for fluid on left turns. I'd suggest you fill to the full mark if it's not there. Intense-Racing suggested putting in a little more than the full mark. i think it was like an extra pint. However I always ensure a trans is at the full mark and usually you won't have any left turn starvation.

Bill this trans came from the spare I had sitting and bought it when I got one of the engines for my 98GT this trans still needs a filter swap and fluid before I'd deem it bad, I havnt seen it myself but Id have to beileve that the trans is full and still has this issue so besides the idea of the trans not being full got any other ideas?
My reccomendations

1. change filter and fluid.
2. If the problem is still there pop the diff cover off and check the diff.
3a. Drive the hell out of it until it turns into a frag grenade.
3b. Replace with another trans LOL.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Did I miss anything, got any other ideas?

Well Tyler.. if it has an issue only on left turns, then that is typically because the fluid sloshes right. Changing a filter isn't going to change anything if the issue doesn't happen when turning the other way. Logic says that if the filter is an issue, then it would even screw up in a straight line.

I guess I'll have to agree with Bill throw another half quart in it and see what happens? I have also been told that these need to be over full a little from the Smittys trans that has built me 2 transmissions in 2 different cars since I was in HS.

Well Aaron throw some more fluid in it and see what happens. I highly doubt it will get worse.
