4t65e Reverse issue

So I bought this GTP and the transmission had been rebuilt recently. First thing in the morning when everything is cold reverse works great. After then engine gets to operating temp, reverse disappears completely. No slipping, just nothing. Took apart the reverse servo and the seal looks great and the pin is contacting the band nicely. Anyone with any insight? Thinking of just having it rebuilt again and put some heavier hard parts in it while it's being done.

Update: did a scan of this happening. Works 100% at 60 degree trans. temp, lose it at around 87 degrees. Weird that it does not slip or anything. Just lose it completely. Also that it happens with such a small change in temp.

Yeah I took it to the local Cottmann today and of course they want to rebuild the whole thing. $1700...

Just wondering on any new information on this thread...I too am having the same problem with my 4t65e-hd in a 1999 GTP...transmission works great until warmed up then has a 10 sec delay or all of a sudden "bangs" into reverse when warmed up. BUT even when its warmed up the rest of the forward gears work great. I have heard some people say check the reverse servo for misaligned pins and worn out seals or replace reverse boost valve? Does anyone have any updates or tried any of these yet? I really don't want to do the whole "rebuild it for $1700" deal either.
