42# Injectors What All Works ?

rynoman03

I AM PEWPIN!
Me and another member KFISH to be exact have been wondering what all makes and models of 42# Injectors will fit our cars. He is in need of some and I just want some for down the line.

We have been told by several members that anything with a "Green Top"

As Seen here will work. Most come out of Lightnings or Mustangs.

But as i began my search for Injectors on the Cheap i started realizing there might be more makes and models that might work.

So my question is can the L67 setup utilize other injectors besides ford's "Green Tops" and possibly even use something like an LS1 Injector ? Maybe even Bosch's EV1 style injectors ?

Any helpful comments and recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks! :th_thumbsup-wink:

I told you...its few and far between...mostly high end Ford's are about it.

I'm telling ya...your LTFT's, Injector Duty, and STFT's looked fine to me when I was scanning it. Injectors @ WOT were only sitting around 80-85% IIRC...I still don't know why you want them...even with the tune out of the 1.5* of KR you have...you should still have ample room with the stockers. Save your money...and get rockers.

well ****, if your stock ones were only 80% then you dont need them. i saw static on my injectors 21.xx+ ms and wasnt knocking because of it.

Leaner IS better :p Plus...last I checked...the LS1 uses #28 injectors...so you would be losing injector size compared to the #33'ers that are in your car stock.

Most High impededence injectors will work with the right harness adapters. They changed on 04+ on s/c engines.

Really you shouldn't be looking at injectors until going below a 3.2" pulley or running E85.

not true. im at 95% duty cycle on a 3.5.

I still think something is wrong there...there is no way you can be needing that much fuel with a 3.5"

intercoolers coming on my new motor thats sitting in my garage. this ones just in my car to make it move.

Well i was doing more inquiring for Korey than myself. But i was curious myself. I think I'm just going to start to look for parts to do a cam.
