Telkel2399 - you're the kind of guy everyone HATES at a car show. You have something to say about everyone's ride, and most of the time the information that you babble is incorrect and mis-informed. Then you go back to the spectator parking lot, get into your beat-up riced out hoopty with your white-trash girlfriend and head back to the trailer park. It's not about YOUR opinion...whomever told you otherwise did you an injustice. You see, modding cars is about what YOU as the owner like, plain and simple. So do us all a favor, and unless you are asked, keep your one-sided meaningless opinions to yourself.

Oh...and tell me that THIS isn't sexy, oh, and no one is calling it a sports car. It is what it is.... a 4 dr grocery getter that is faster, more comfortable and better looking than anything you'll ever aspire to driving:

It's obvious from this statement you've never driven in a CTS-V......its not geared towards the retired people that want a cushy ride:th_shakinghead2: The ride in that PERFORMANCE VEHICLE is geared towards PERFORMANCE.
 


copgtp - I like the door moldings removed on your car. I thought about doing it to mine but wasn't sure how it would look. Looks like a more modern car with that and the wheels. Nice car!

so do i... was it a pita to get the glue off? and what was the paint color difference where the mouldings were if any after u removed the mouldings.

Theres holes behind it... You basically need an AMAZING paint blending job or a new paint job.
 
Ok maybe I misunderstood the definition of an opinion (obviously because its posted in the rants section). This is my opinion. Its too obvious to state that the grand prix gtp 4 dr and grand prix gtp 2 dr and the impala for that matter are all the same car under the hood. You can mod any 4 dr gtp and impala and come up with the same results.....same drive train and motor. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Question is why would you want to choose a 4 dr over a 2 dr for a performance car if you are interested in modding it? The point is why a 4 dr car?!?!?!? I just don't get it.
 
It is a lot easier to get **** in and out of the back. Also a lot easier to haul people. I always wanted to make it fast and still chose a 4 door.

some ppl like to mod daily drivers... some ppl have kids and sh*t... who cares why they would want too... cuz they can this is america...
 
And yes you can mod any 4 dr out and looks amazing but at the end of the day its still a 4 dr. Kinda like you can dress up a dude like a girl and he might look alright but at the end of the night hes still a dude and I'm not taking him home.
 
i hope u dont have a 2 dr gp and are assuming its a sports car... cuz at the end of the day its still a grandma/family car.

Anyway I have a 2000 grand prix gtp and have never stated that I classified it as a sports car. In the classification of one though a 2 dr would be higher priority than a 4 dr gtp. Honestly the only reason for a 4 dr is for hauling around kids and groceries. If those things were never an interest then there would be no 4 dr cars so whats the argument? Mmmm I'm sorry you aren't looking for straight performance out of a less expensive car?!?!
