well ive never seen one ( thats not saying much) but if it is as expensive as some have made it seem then i doubt any one would toss that much into a car then turn around and sell it. especially without doing more modding and soo on...and i would think that the price of the car would fluctuate greatly if such a mod was present...... but thats just my thoughts i tend to be a bit paranoid

Probably just another L67...and if he is running a 3.4" with no other mods...he blew it up and had to put a new short block in it...I'd say it was a 120% lie...sorry you probably got lied to...but if they installed the motor right...then $3300 isn't BAD as long as the body is in good shape and the motor was low miles...assuming it really does have 17K.

i wouldn't have paid 3300 for a car with a "stroked" motor and no proof or receipts, he saw you coming and cashed in on the deal

ha i dont plan an losing sleep over it at all. im happy with my carwhether its stock or not. thanks for all your input! :th_thumbsup-wink:

I paid 5000 for my 2001 and it had 110000 on it and my 4th gear went and had to get the trans rebuilt for 1200 but got a shift kit installed while it was out . Still love my car. never wanted to take back the purchase.

In order to get 4.1 liters out of a 3800 just by boring, the piston diameter would have to be 3.95" I don't think the cylinder walls are even close to being thick enough for that to work out.
