3800 series III bone stock, modifications?



Don't turbo that l26....put any other 3800 in first..

If I were you, I would just top swap your engine now with a decent cam and you'll be very happy with the car.
 
Im still undecided ATM, im def going to do a top swap. I might just go with the decent can and wait a few months before I decide. That will give me a lot of time to research my options and save the chunk of change I'm going to need
 


Why would you get a top swap or ssm90 kit from zzp?

That's a big waste of money when you can piece together a top swap for so much cheaper.

I collected 3 top swaps, each for around 200-300...lol jy is where to go
 
Okay, so ive been reading up on a lot of stuff but im stuck at top swapping a L26, there's a lot about swapping the L32's, the 67's and the 36's but not much about the 26's. If I am correct the 26 is compatible with the 32 and the 36 is compatible with the 67. So if I am correct I would have to swap the top out with the the 32 parts and then drop the Gen V M90 in it. Also If I am thinking correctly the 05+ bottoms are aluminum and should handle the pressures.
