3800 performance stage 3 package

that kit dont have **** you need. our fuel injectors wont even handle a 3.25. the biggest thing with droping pulley's is getting the hot air out of the motor ie exhaust. deff a downpipe and p-log, then a tune of your choice and 3.5, wouldent go past that. and of course plugs and therastat. remember to do all the maintence first to the car, change the supercharger oil.

but an intake exhuast pulley will deff give it some pep. i got some pep with just my intake and headers. cant wait till i get my rockers and pulley on :D

kind of a lie. the injector pulse width that is seen on the seriesIII engines is slightly skewed, so you really have more headroom than you think. however, most cars tend to run out of injector in the 3.2-3.0 area anyway, so maybe it is better off to have a premature warning to upgrade?

alot of people are maxing out or around 98% injector duty with a 3.4 according to there aeroforce. our injectors are smaller than yalls, dont know exactly what size tho.

welp i went back and found an intresting artical. said the pcm does skew the readings some for the 04 plus injectors, said power tunners will read it skewed, its because of the pcm. the guy hooked up some measuring device at the injector and varified it was off. he said at 6000rpm it was at 22ms what the pcm was saying but really they were at 16.9ms. he said that prj has done testing and yes 3.4's can run rich so it has injector left in it, its just the pcm reads it wrong. sooo scratch that off my list for now :D

Even if what it's showing is skewed, the L32's injectors are ~10% smaller than the L67 injectors, so maxing them out with a 3.4 and a more efficient blower is certainly possible.

told ya.

ha shut up. i wonder if people calculate for this in tunes tho?? i sent to artical to will over at overkill to see what he says. i dont think it would throw things off by much but who knows.

it really should only come into play when youre to the point where you are maxing out your injectors. a wideband and fuel pressure gauge would help out with diagnosing that.

a wideband is a crazy good help at any mod level. you can get an AEM gauge like i have for ~$250 i think. i bought mine from someone else brand new but never used for $210 shipped. youd be surprised at how much easier it is to tune when you dont have to rely on the narrowband being accurate or consistant. it helps to be able to lean the car out correctly and get it running tip top as well.

nothing feels better than a car on the brink of being too lean. that is the fastest a car will ever be.

how do you hook it up??? aint it like an o2 plug in, in the exhuast?? can you just hook up the wideband or does it have to go threw the pcm??

man, my list just keeps getting bigger and bigger. im gonna have to have a tunner eventually. theres nothing like having a moded car and knowing theres more left in it but cant get it out.

It has it's own sensor. So just put a bung in the exhaust and call it a day.

i was gonna ask where. the dp is a little easier to get to.

how fine is the line between lean and to lean and chiping pistions??

Well generally you want to run it as lean as you can before you start knocking.

But you dont have a HUGE margin or anything....

i would LOVE if i could lean it out to about 12.5:1 and then add the methanol on top of it to see where it gets me. im sure it would knock a bunch at that AFR without the methanol though.
