The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
need more in the vid. like bring it up to 2500 rpm, then let the throttle go flat back to idle. only hold it at 2500 for a few seconds, let go back to idle.

take the belts off one at a time, sc first, run it, see if the sound is gone, still there take the other belt off run it. if its still there it could be a broken valve spring or some thing. it dont sound bottom end related really.
I agree, I do not believe it is bottom end related, and I have several experiences with what that sounds like. start your process of elimination. one belt at a time.
I too agree heck man start from scratch the easy stuff, spin & wiggle the pullys ect, while you try what Scotty thinks. You pretty much start spending money the minute you Crack that first valve cover bolt. Although gaskets aren't so rediculous it's good to be sure it isn't elsewhere. Def does NOT sound bottom end to me either sounds external or high, let us know what you find I'm curious now
I know I'm probably a little late to this thread but that noise sounds like a bad harmonic balancer. My brothers 99 Grand Prix was producing that same exact noise until we replaced it.
