370z vs 2001GPGT

Buddy of mine just picked up this low mileage 370Z. It has an intake and exhaust and some suspension mods. We decided to run them after weeks of smack talk to each other lol. First run we go from a 20 roll. Dead even till 90-100 mph and he starts to slowly pull on me. We go from 50 and dead even till about 110(he pulled maybe a fender or two on me) when we both left off. Quick cars, interiors really nice on them as well. The fang fascia is FUGLY imo though. If I didnt have three kids I think Id get a 350z or 370. Pretty decent all around cars

Nice run, dude. I'm a little surprised you hung that well though with your mods. Especially with no valvetrain mods. Those cars have some wicked top end. They make their peak power at like 7k rpm, have much better gearing and are even a bit lighter. You sure your buddy can drive it yet?

Yeah that's why we didn't run from a stop because he was so new to it. His has the paddle shifters. Id say hes your average driver.

Paddle shifters = auto trans...only cool thing about that is the rev matching downshift feature.

Otherwise...there isn't really much to driving them other than...OH, WATCH THAT TACH SCOOTER. TIME TO CLICK THE BUTTON.
