i need some help, my supercharger belt broke while driving, and now my supercharger is not moving, they told me its the bearings, but i read somewhere before that they had a supercharger repair kit out there, because normally the dealers would always tell you that you need a new supercharger. need help bad guyz

The "repair kit" I think you're refering to is the new coupler and fluid. The bearings have to be repacked and should be done by a local performance shop if one is available. If its a Gen 3 blower,it might be more cost effective to purchase a used snout.

There are 2 snout bearings, 2 front rotor bearings, and 2 rear rotor bearings. Almost certainly, one of them is locked up.

The cheapest and fastest route would be to swap in a used supercharger. It is possible to rebuild the blower, but it will take some time and costs up to $500. (Still cheaper than buying a new one.) The downside to swapping in a used one is that it will have high miles.

If you are going to pay for labor to have the blower installed, then the cost difference between a used blower and a fully rebuilt one is less significant, in my opinion.

thanks a lot guyz, im in the bahamas, do anyone know of a store in miami, that i could trade or take it to repair.

ebay is going to be your friend n this case then.

and i believe there are a couple for sale here by a few members, in the parts for sale section.
