3.8 NA fuel line question

I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT with the 3.8 naturally aspirated engine. I have a fuel leak at the connector on the back side of the engine. I tried changing O-rings and it went from a very slight leak to a gusher. Now the question, is that the feed line or the return? My service manual (when I finally located the pics) says it is the feed line. Looks like the return is connected to the fuel pressure regulator. Of course the parts guy ordered the return, but just wanted to clarify. Thanks. BTW, looks like it will be a regal pain to replace..

The two line sizes are 3/8 and 5/16. The 3/8 or larger line is the supply.

What did you order? Dorman makes a partial line fix for this.

If you buy the repair kit (sold at most car parts stores) lemme know. I can give you some tips on making the fix ALOT easier. Learned from my own trials :D

I ordered the return line. Called the dealer back and got it switched to the supply which they had. Just have to wait for shipping. Not aware of any repair kits. I bought the two bags of O-rings and that made it worse. Undrivable right now.

I did find the repair kit and installed it in about 20 minutes. I was a little worried I would not get the metal union fully seated, but did get it done. No leaks, good to go! Thanks for the repair kit suggestion, OReillys had them hidden..had to ask. Thanks all!
