I recently bought a 95 GTP with the 3.4 DOHC motor in it. Tell me something about this engine. Good points, bad points and what I can expect from it. It only has 61,000 on it.
 


Had a 94, itwas a nice car. Well as you probably know buy now the 3.4 doesn't have any bottom end end but once your past 3500 the thing really takes off. The only other thing that would get me is that no matter what you had to do the engine the first step seemed to be " to remove the heads" :th_jester::th_nervous: The only thing that I recall is that the 3.4 still had a distributor opening that is plugged off, that will over time , begin to leak..........guaranteed. It's sealed with an o-ring.
Over-all it was a fun car with an unusual engine. Enjoy.
