3.29s from a GT trans



They were 7/8" just not single chain 7/8". The single chain is an upgrade that didn't come stock in any w-body 97-08 iirc.
 
I'd like to know what advantage 3.69s will have on a GT's transmission. Will it be too aggressive? Certainly I'll be planning on upgrading the current chain & sprockets, but they're already 3.29s. And has anyone developed a real LSD based on the HD/HD upgrade kit?
 
Did you mean SD/HD kit? That's just stock parts. Nothing custom. Company's have made replacement diffys with a crappy spring and friction LSD setup... Generally considered a bad idea.
