I went to Best Buy and other places and no one even has any idea of anything that has the same connector as that palm did :(

I was thinking about buying a palm IIIX on amazon.com. Then if you search around you can find the old serial style cables. Then if you go to LS1M and click under downloads I think the scanner program is on that site. I really only need something to scan for KR
 
i didnt realize they didnt still have the same cable connection. that is unfortunate.

i was going to copy the software for you, but i think its free anyway.
 
If I could find the cable that goes from the old palm serial cable to the OBDII port in my car I would just Buy an old palm off amaozon and load up the software on it.

I saw that but he asking $75 for it. That seems a bit too high for me. I also found a local GP owner that has HP Tuner. I'm hoping to hook up with him this winter. I'm just going to save the money and get a set of OBX headers. I can install them and not worry about the dredded KR.

$75 is a steal of a price as they tend to run from $110-125. alos for the palm type, just get a palm M130(internal rechargeable battery) as well as get a y-sync that has a usb and serial port-the serial goes to the LS1M cable, the usb goes to a usb cig adapter and the end piece of the y-sync goes of course to the palm itself. the palm m130 tends to run o ebay for ~$30-45.
