i guess my decision will be when we get closer to the date. We are talking 150-200 in gas alone just getting there and back plus beer,food, ect... ide probly camp out if its nice out

EDIT: So, the meet is going down at Carlisle GM Nationals in June. For those of you who voted for a different month, sorry, but it has been decided. Special thanks to Chris for opening up his home and back yard to make this happen. Everyone can put in for their days off now and hopefully we can get a big turn out and make this a great event!

I'm seeing $100-130/night on average. They certainly jack their rates for things when they come to town, I know the game because I did it for 5 years....so it will be an easy $450 weekend for me

You could grab a hotel in Harrisburg near Chris' place instead of Carlisle. Currently asking about a hotel in Carlisle some of the vendors switched to... at least, I think I heard them talking about it.

Edit: Looks like this Motel6 closed. The cheap one was the one at 1450 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle, PA 17015... guess it was cheap because it was transitioning business to the new one. There's an America's Best Value Inn near that location that's $80/night. There's another Motel6 off the turnpike like a mile away was more expensive since it was newer - currently $65/night.
