Need some help. Got a Walbro pump from intense. Putting it into a non venture 02 gtp. What modifications need to be made to make the pump fit? The original pump has two nozzles on the bottom and the walbro has one big one??? Been searching but cannot find any write ups. the instructions on intense are for a 1998 and the 02 is different. Help got the car torn apart.

Thanks!!!

Thats what i thought but it is not...The instructions on intense website are for a venturi pump. I have a non venturi so in researching there needs to be some modification to the canister or something but I cannot locate what the modification is.

I did the Racetronix on mine which is a venturi version of the Walbro and it was a drop in once I had a venturi canister

So there is no way to do it without a venturi canister or can you mod the current one? trying not to go to the junkyard in the cold and snow..ugh.

Your car and pump in a NON-VENTURI. it is just a drop in. Like the pick up on the bottom of the pump with the plunger on the bottom of the canister.

so even if the holes do not line up in the canister it is fine? I get what your saying and makes sense but doesn't that effect the fuel pick up? How does the canister fill when the gas level gets below the canister?

Ok I answered my own question and I.am over thinking this..use to working with a venturi pump...thanks for your help..lol.canister just fills up and pump draws from there..makes sense.
