255 tire anyone?

you'll be fine with a 245 wide tire for sure, but if you want that extra 10mm then go for it. you should still be okay.

Bio..i was thinking about 18's in 255 in the back and 245 that i have already have in the front..do you think taht the 255 wil go well? with 38-40 offset

the rear is where these cars have more clearance issues.

and it'd make you even more likely to hydroplane since theres a lot less weight there than the front wheels.

and thats a bad thing. :D

i run 17x9's with a +38mm offset with 255 45's all they way around with no issues.....they scrub the plastic wheel well a lil in the front but no fender or strut problems....

255s are fine, you can run a 275 if you wanted. The are not going to make it closer to the struts. Its the offset and width of the rim.

and 18x8 +40 is fine. No problems running 255s.

Heres my regal on 245/45/18 18x8 +38

If it helps any, I'm running 255/50 on 17x8 +40mm with only minor rubbing issues in the rear (Haven't rolled the fenders yet).

you'll be fine, might rub the fenders a little, but i dont see why 255 versus 245 would make a massive difference.
