22mm rear swaybar bushing

I've recently discovered that the rear sway bar in my GTP is a 22mm Speedbuilt. The suspension was in terrible shape when I bought it, so I replaced the struts & springs. Ride improved but annoying clunk in the rear remained. I thought I had play in the sway bar endlinks so I installed Moog endlinks, but the play & clunking was still there. I noticed the right side bushing was shot and allowing my sway bar to bounce up and down quite freely, which is likely the cause of my clunking. At the time I didn't know any better so I purchased some stock bushings, but found out they rear sway had been replaced with this beefier swaybar. I contacted the person I bought it from who told me it was a Speedbuilt 22mm rear bar.

Currently, the failed bushing is installed into the stock bracket, but I have not been able to locate a replacement bushing that would fit the bracket. So I'm wondering if there is a 22mm bushing that will fit a stock bracket, or if I should go ahead an get some universal bushings and trim them up to fit the bracket. Or if anyone has a better idea I'm all ears. I'm assuming I could use whatever bushing and bracket is used on the Addco (which seems to the only 22mm bar still available for this car), so if someone has a part number for a bushing that fits that it would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you all

You might could try a universal 22mm type like this one from energy suspension https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ens-9-5158g. If not and if google yields no useful results, then I would consider contacting either energy suspension or Prothane and be ready to give them some specs and see if they could cross reference anything by size. Maybe another application would work.

I ended up ordering an energy suspension bushing 9.5126g. The measurements of that bushing seemed the closest to the bushing & stock bracket. I'll probably have to shave it down some to match the funky shape of the stock bushing. As long as it holds the bar tight I'll be happy.

For anyone in the future searching for rear 22mm bar bushings the ES 9.5126 works great. Received the bushings today in the mail and installed in the stock bracket just fine. I had to persuade the bracket over the bushing, but it finally went over and after tightening down the bolt looks to be damn solid. I figured I would have to shave the bushing to match the bracket, but I didn't. The bushings I bought don't have grease zerks, but I wrapped my bar in teflon tape and gave everything a nice thick coating of ES's formula 5 grease. No funky noises from the bushing yet, we'll see how long that lasts. My annoying clunk is gone, perfect!

Second question for you all, my car has a 32mm Speedbuilt front sway bar, would upgrading to the 34mm Dorman provide noticeable improvement? The car handles damn good now, but now I'm addicted and want to make it better.

Glad the bushings worked out.

For your 2nd question, IMO that's a maybe. Sway bars along with reducing body roll can be used in different combinations of sizes in front to rear to change understeer or oversteer behavior. Not everyone has the same driving style or prefers the exact same feel. For the money I think its worth a try to see what you think. I would consider the GMPP 34mm bar, it can be purchased cheap ~$50 and will include new Delco bushings and end links. You could always sell one or the other later.

I have the GMPP front and rear and am happy with them, I also have ZZP chrome molly rear trailing arms.

Also don't under estimate how much just new bushings can help in suspension.

I would go with the solid front Dorman over the GMPP... I have the GMPP in one GP and the Doman in another, at same time, all other components the same, and the Dorman wins!
