21st Annual Pontiac Nationals, Norwalk, OH Aug. 3rd-5th, 2012

Alright the Park does offer camping spots and rv hook ups but its only 1 car per spot... and I'm betting pontiac nationals is something you have to be on a waiting list for many years to get your chance at a spot so anyone who wants to do that can attempt on their own.

Theres 2 motel 6s in the area and both your looking at 78 bucks for a room

theres a best western and american inns within 5 miles of the track but for most people is absolutly out of the question at close to 300 bucks a night

econo lodge also within 5 miles offers a bargin rate of $58.00 for theses always classy rooms

theres also the norwalk inn within 5 miles there getting back to me on rates but do we want a repeat of the space showers in Iowa? I mean look at the only picture I could find

They do claim to be norwalks cleanest budget motel tho so it might be worth a gander...

ok the rest of the hotels are 10-20miles from the track

the plantation motel rents out little sheds for 49 bucks a night


Days inn is $89 bucks a night

Hampton inn is already booked full

Red Roof Inn I'll get back to you on that

Super 8 the not so super price of 98 bucks a night

The pickings are kinda slim so either pay big or slum it that or we drive 30miles to the track I'll keep working on it I guess
 


I say we get 1 or 2 penthouses based on size. That should be enough room for 100 people, and like $3 a person for the weekend.
 
thats alright if no one likes sleep I'll drive an hour to the yacht club and sleep in the club house or just sleep in my car again I'm not worried about it lol
 


hmmm. Econo lodge looks like a damn closet with two big beds in it. we could indeed make that 4 or 5 people Brian hahaha.

but i like the idea of a huge penthouse and split it all. I just worry of the burden someone might have to take on before the money is collected.

and i am not sleepin in some shed on some slave plantation or whatever that is. forget that.

im definitely with Brian and Ray...i like the idea of cheap, as long as i have a portion of a bed to sleep on, i'm good. we could make somethin work. But like the econo lodge...even if we did pack in there, there's no way we can ALL come down to one room like last time in that little bitty old room there. id say check out the sizes of the rest of the rooms? and the penthouse? we can make prices work im sure. like brian said, last time we came out $30 bucks a person for both nights.
 


i dont see a problem with any of these places so long as they have enough vacancy for like 30 of us. considering 70% of you all will back out, i expect the turnout to be somewhere in that area. :D

the plantation actually sounds kinda neat, but if brandon is going to feel opressed then we should definitely go there.
 
I really just need someplace easy to sleep.. you guys can take a big bed and cuddle lol gimme a sofa and im set, cuts my costs way down too ;)
