2010 Camaro SS? Or Ford Mustang?

you can get a GT500 for $50,000, but the unoptioned $30,000 2011 GT performs similarly to the GT500. However, I've never seen a GT sell for $30,000 as they all get optioned and end up closer to $40,000. The one I priced to my liking was closer to $43,000. At that point, just spend the extra $8,000 and get the GT500 :)

Since you can order the GT500 from any Ford dealer and website and don't have to deal with Shelby Cars of America directly, I consider it a basic kind. Yet, I don't consider the Roush's and Saleen's "basic" for these comparisons since you have to go to a Roush or Saleen certified dealer.

I haven't looked at the numbers comparing the Camaro SS to the Mustang GT, but when you are, make sure you are comparing the 2011 5.0 instead of the 2010 and older 4.6.
 


Ya im just going off some information when a website did a comparison on youtube with a mustang gt and the 2010 camaro and for the same cost of the camaro with 425 horse, you can only get a mustang gt with 325 horse. And in the video it did a race and the camaro smoked it. But like i said before i love both cars, i really dont take sides because there both american and both beautiful machines!.
 
Mustang > Challenger > Camaro

I've always been a Ford guy, the GTP was a fluke...
The more I see the Camaros around town the more I dislike them
Mostly the ass end...
The Challenger is a very sexy beast, but the cost is a huge turn off...
Ford finally gave the Mustang a good interior, that was the last puzzle peace needed

2010 Camaro SS stick curb weight 3,860

2010 Challenger RT stick curb weight 3,947

so now that we can quit calling one any heavier then the other and even though this is Camaro or Mustang, I want a Challenger yes it is a 100 lbs heavier but when have any of us left something stock, the Challenger is the sickest one of the bunch i would take a Camaro after that.

that makes more sense then the website i found, i couldnt figure how it would jump 300 lbs from a .4l bigger motor and new bumpers.
