2008 grand prix

When I start my Grand Prix the trunk pops open could use some input thanks.

does this happen when you turn the ignition on and not start it or only when you actually start it? Sounds like a short somewhere.

Does it happen when you use remote start?

It happens with the remote also.When I use the remote the car starts and stalls .Changed the remote battery no help .Changed battery in both of my remotes .Thanks for the reply

Hmm that's odd. When starting with the key, do the lights flash like they would when the trunk is opened? I wonder if something as simple as jumping the starter to put power to the solenoid wire would cause the trunk to open.

No every thing seems normal other than the trunk opening and remote not working friend just told me he had same problem with his car his battery was weak new battery solved problem.Will have my battery checked soon
