2008 Grand Prix...problem?

To fellow members,

Just moments ago, I fueled up my 2008 Grand Prix. Attempted to start it up and it would not turn over. No clicking, no sound...nada. I opened the hood and made sure the fuses were all properly seated. Replaced cover and closed hood. Got into car and it started up. Hmm...what the hell was that? Any ideas?

First guess would be your battery terminal(s) aren't well seated. So, you had enough of a contact to get it started, got to a station (maybe hitting a bump in route) and the connection was lost, popped the hood and when closing jarred enough to make a contact.

If you actually had power but this happened, could be your starter connection is lose and resulting in the basically same problem.

If your battery is showing lots of corrosion and/or you can move the terminals at all, that'll likely do it. If it isn't, I'd check (or have checked) the starter connections. ;)
