2008 grand prix condenser removal

I did on my regal. I didn't have to remove the rad out of the car or drain it.....but I did it
would it be that different ?

I removed the dog bones. Removed the fan shroud assembly. Removed rad support bar. Removed the rad brackets. Disconnected the condensor line. Pushed the rad forward towards motor. Slide the condensor up and out.

I just did mine over the weekend without fully removing the radiator. The bottom trans line wouldn't come off. I disconnected the top trans line, upper and lower hoses. Took out the fans and pushed it forward enough to sneak the old condenser out and get the new one in. about 4 hrs of work start to stop.

^ that's way too much work. Should have stopped by , I just did mine a couple weekends ago. I have all the tools you need to charge it as well. Just buy the refrigerant at big lots. $7 / 12oz can

you have a vacuum pump? I may take you up on your offer to recharge. I loaded a couple cans, it was cool for a couple weeks but not so much.

Yessir. Just lost my tap for the cans that allows to me to charge via my gauges. So we have to use the dedicated line hose/tap for them. But it has a built in "gauge"
