2007 gxp seems to slip on takeoff

seems sometimes when i do a easy takeoff, ill depres the accelerator i can see the rpm go up but very little power to the wheels but then POW! it seems to slam into gear like it was a stick trand and i dropped the clutch.. possibilities trans my be going out? or a worn out clutch? solenoid?

My guess would be torque converter.

dont feel alone. my 05 GXP does the exact same thing. i think i've got it narrowed down to the shift solonoid sticking but not 100% sure yet.
the wierd thing is, if i pull it into the tapshift mode it dosent do it. i've just learned to live with it for now cause i know its slipping and not long for this world.
when it does go it's game on. i already got an ls6 intake and the cam is in the mail:th_thumb-up:
