2007 Grand Prix GXP Sterering Angle Sensor Calibration Issues

GXP with 240K (two trans rebuilds) has thrown a code for steering angle sensor. I used my scanner reading the live data of SAS and when the reading jumped it trigged the ABS, traction control, and stabilitrak errors on the dash.

I swapped out the SAS with one from a junkyard GXP with 119k and I could not get my scanner to reset/calibrate the sensor. My scanner does read the degree of the SAS.

I took the car to the shop and they are having the same issue...

Has anyone experienced this before?
