2007 GP Base Wheel Hub Assembly

Can anyone tell me if an ABS hub will fit a GP that does not have ABS? I would assume the only difference would be the ABS sensor, but I would like some conformation.

The worst part about this is I just had the entire da#ned subframe out to replace the flywheel. I just replaced that, the motor mount, the tie rod ends, sway bar end links/bushings, and the ball joints. Wish I would have noticed when I had the knuckles off already.

So I replaced the hubs over the weekend and brought it back in for the safety inspection and alignment today. Apparently the camber was off on both left tires. They needed to install a special bolt in order to set the camber for both knuckles. Does that sound right?

Called a camber kit or they can slot the struts.. A camber kit is like $15-20 each so don't let them rape you on the price. Hell don't let them charge you for labor either or take it home.. And swap the bolt in yourself and take it back for a alignment. Yes it's rather normal.

I figured that the kit was cheap. They are charging $48 per wheel, which I thought was ridiculous, but if I had them pull it they were going to charge me with an alignment check fee of $40. Then I would have to pay another $90 for an alignment after I installed the kit. So I just had them do it because the OOP would have been close either way. This is why I work on my own vehicles.

You said you ganked the sub to do the flex. I would have left the knuckles on the struts. Only because once you dink with them..you need an alignment.

knuckles stay on for a hub swap.

buy your own camber bolts, install them, then go back for the alignment. its just a bolt with a cam gear on it. google it.

I still had to get an alignment from when I dropped the subframe to do the flex plate (other thread). I also did the ball joints and outer tie rods while it was out. Otherwise I would have just popped the tie rod ends off when I did the hubs over the weekend.
