2007 GP air intake

Hey guys.
I'm looking to install a decent air intake in my 07 but I can't seem to find one for the 3.8L V6 for my year. All the sites I've searched claim the k&n intakes fit the 04, 05 and comments Show people have tried it on the 06, but the 07s are still "unknown". I find it hard to believe it wouldn't fit, but figured I'd check with you guys to be sure.

Also, I saw a video online of someone who installed a 5.3L v8 k&n air intake on his 3.8.
Can this be done or is it dangerous / could it mess with MAF?

its fine, but build your own.

maybe $50.00 dollars i spent into that.
 
Its cheaper to make your own. Easiest thing to do is put a cone filter on the end of the MAF sensor. If you want to you can create your own air box out of a plastic garbage bucket cut to fit, insulate it and thats it.
