2005 GXP nav issue

Hey everyone,

I just recently got a factory nav unit for my gxp, got it installed and everything and got the new 5.0 GM nav dvds, however i still cant seem to get it to work. It wont find my current location, however when i turn the red arrow will turn but wont register distance. Also on the nav screen it shows a red line thru the GPS logo. I dont have an owners manual for the unit, so any help would be great. Any ideas?
