2005 Grand Prix GXP air bag module

I was wondering if anybody could help me, I am going to sell my grand prix but i would like to get my air bag light off before i sell it. I already replaced both bags and now i want to take my module out and get it reset. Does anybody know where the module is? A site was saying how it is under the console and someone else said it was in the steering wheel? But im guessing its under the console.

Does anybody know how to remove the center console if that is where it is located? Thank you
 


pretty sure you can do this with a high end scanner, but i will be corrected by another soul on this forum.
 
Hmmm im not sure ive been told so many different things, The dealership told me i would either need to buy another module and get it programmed and i talked to someone from airbagsystems.com and they said that They would repair it and ship it back for $50 and since its my original one i dont need to get it reprogrammed. So i dont really know what to do
 
No problem, I wish it was that easy aha everyone is telling me i have to either get my module replaced or get it repaired. So does anybody know how to remove the center console im an 2005 Grand Prix?
 
i removed mine by the 4 bolts that are on the sides at the bottom, then take shift knob off and slide it out the way, there will be a few electronic connections there.
