Hey guys, I recently seen a '05 compG listed for 6500 at the DEALER. It currently has
*102,000 miles
*clean title
*Black leather interior
*Digital Dual Climate
*TAPshift
*Dual Heated Seats
*1disk c/d changer with steering wheel controls
*newer tires
CONS
*The HUD isn't working
*repossession

Just wanted to know what you guys thought of the price as far as value goes and how much miles were on it any input is welcomed !

seems like a good price to me. there is an 04 in my town at a dealer with more miles than that and about $3000 higher. I'd jump on it if I had the cash.

Thanks i thought it was a good deal! Is there anything I should look for in particular as far as the engine or interior goes?anything I should look for specifically when test driving it?

Sounds like a good deal. Check the condition of the fluids and if all is good, grab it! I usually take a white paper towel to the trans dip stick to see the real color and if it's any contamination. Trans fluid condition is a great indicator of how serious the previous owner was about maintenance. I also check the power steering fluid as well. The only thing that scares me is it's a repo. What's the odds that they had money for premium fuel, and regular maintenance if they couldn't pay the car note...

The big thing is those damn intake gaskets. 05 is when they started using the good aluminum ones, but my 05 still had the plastic ones, so it can be either way.

Look where the lower intake meets the heads. If you see a black gasket, it's plastic and will need replacing. The aluminum ones will look grey/silver colored.
