hey guys i got plugs and wires to do on my comp g and upon getting a cylinder 3 misfire code i decided to change that plug. i got the plug out and it was in crappy shape but its a ac delco itr4a15 plug so i went to my work (oreillys) and interchanged that number and its a iridium plug and i had originally got tr55s from ngk to use so my question is should i stay with iridiums gapped at .53 which cylinder 3 was so im assuming the rest are, it says gap should be at .60 so i was curious if there would be a power loss, fuel mileage drop or anything like that going from iridiums to copper or just syay with iridiums? thanks for any input

Copper or Iridium is fine. I choose the 41-101 factory plugs with Iridiums.

They should be no change in how it runs with either plug. I suggest a .050 gap even though the factory gap is .060. The slightly smaller gap is something I prefer.

I've always gapped at 55 personally. Run Iridium if your car is stock. If not run copper AL 605, AL 105. It all depends on your setup.

okay ill go with ac delcos 41-101's. can i gap down o .55 on iridium plugs or can that damag the electrode or anything? thanks
