2005 grand prix burning gas like crazy!

all i know is that cars running really rich will burn white. if theyre running unbelievably rich they can burn black. with modern EFI thats hardly possible.
my 7.6 runs rich and burns white with intermitten black smog.
 


thanks guys for all the input, how ever the exhaust is fine, but it wouldnt hurt to check so i will have everything yall suggested check to make sure. cause i have no idea what it is..thanks..
 
Wouldn't hurt to check your throttle body...I know that wouldn't be the main problem but cleaning it will help you gain MPGs back...

By the way, like torq455 said, it is probably a fuel sending unit, a sensor or the pcm that failed...With a major problem like this one I would simply bring it back to the dealer and ask for a fix immediately!
 


here is an update guys, i cleaned the throttle body and added some fuel injector cleaner and it helped, i get more miles to the gallon now but its not completely back to normal, when i get sometime ill change out the wires and plugs. ill keep yall posted. thanks for all the advice..
