2004 supercharged won,t pass 3500rpm

I'm a newbie on supercharged sys. So I'll appreciate some ideas what to check before I have to take it to the shop. so far I just check the gas pump and it has pressure, when riding it it runs fine but it won't pass 3500rpm and I can't hear the supercharger kicking in.... any ideas thanks
 




I'm afraid its the super charger, it is making an sporadic clanking noise when it reaches the 3500 rpm, releasing gas a little and works fine any body knows a decent place for buying a new or restored one?
 
Its not the supercharger...they don't just GO BAD. Try again...prolly a clogged cat...a clogged cat is HUGE symptoms for cars dogging trying to get up to speed. Any check engine lights?
 


thanks for the answer.... no warning lights, and what really worries me is that knock and clank noise that comes from around the supercharger area when it reaches 3500 rpm (pedal to the bottom) just check oil level on super charger yesterday it was missing half, so I drain it, it had a really bad smell, my local dealer just had 1 bottle in stock. I'll get more 2morrow. I'm also checking the compression on all cylinders around 155 on 4 of them so far (2 left on back are proving to be a pain in the arse lol ) thanks again
