what might have caused it,

I'm sure it's listed somewhere in this thread but where did you get that chin spoiler/front lip in your early pics of the car ??

the lip is a SE lip pt # 19120589

GM dealer can get, or Gmpartsdirect.com

Then later he added whats comonly known has the HD lip ( garage door trim )

Thanks I appreciate it. I have to get a new front fascia figured might as well do the lip too.
