2004 GTP - hearing rather loud humming noise...............

starts when accelerating at about 25-30mph and then gets a bit louder as car continues to accelerate. Humming noise continues at same level when decelerating, at least for a while, then decreases when speed gets down to the 30mph (or so) level. No noise when stopped.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
 


Where's the humming seem to be coming from? Does it change with RPM? If you posted a video clip with the noise, we could help better.
 


Does not change with RPM, changes on car velocity.

I think the previous posters probably nailed it, a bad wheel bearing. The more I listen to it with the car in operation, the more that makes sense.

btw, is the wheel bearing something I need to get replaced asap or can it wait a week or two?
