2004 grand prix windows are not working

I have a 2004 grand prix and my window will not roll down. When you push the button down it just makes a buzzing sound. I went to the junk yard and put another window panel on it and it still dosent work it does the same thing. All the other window panels light up but the driverside and when I push the button the other lights on door panels turn off. I need desperate help please.

If it's making a noise, to me it'd indicate your window regulator broke as the noise I THINK you're describing is the window motor
