So I want to keep chimes and steering wheel controls in my new 2004 Grand Prix GT when I install the Kenwood double din headunit I'm ordering Thursday. I know you need a specific harness for this. The only one I've found is I guess an onstar one? This works in cars without onstar correct? I just want the steering wheel controls, keep the chimes, and use the radio with the car off(accessory). From my understanding you need a harness like this to make those things possible. Seems a lot more difficult than my '03 was. Is this all correct, if not what do I need?
