***2004 Grand prix GT Problem starting***

Hi guys, I have a 2004 Pontiac grand prix gt. the problem I have is when the car is cold it starts right up no problms. But I let it run, shut it off and try again it will start for a few seconds and sputter stall out unless I apply a little gas with the peddle then it will stay running. Please help!!

Clean the throttle body and MAF sensor, see if it gets better.

I changed the MAF, MAP Sensor and EGR Valve

Okay, but did you ever clean the throttle body?

My 2004 had the same kind of sporadic problem. Since I cleaned the TB and MAF I haven't had any problems.
Did you take the TB off to clean it?
You might want to clean it again.

yes with the cleaner I did it

fpr or injector leak down can create this symptom. to test, put a fuel gauge on the Schrader valve and prime the fuel system. watch for a pressure drop.
