2004-2008 Grand Prix's RECALLED for the Ignition

I think my 00 bonneville might have this problem... like 5 times in the past 3 weeks it has died while driving, won't start or crank in neutral after it dies.

did it twice in one trip.

Luckily I'm not a moron and realise i can still drive the car. Stop, put in park, and it starts right up.

No recal info listed for my car/vin though.

if you knew better you'd think your crank sensor has gne bad......... :th_scratchhead:
 
Got my recall notice today. Not going to waste my time with that sh!t. Had they supplied new keys and not some chinsy cheapass fix I'd do it. Eff GM with a barbwire covered baseball bat.

i just got mine today to i think I'll take my chances
 
I'm not wasting my time because I smacked the crap out of my key while driving because I knew nothing would happen. It's only for people who carry 5 lbs worth of crap on their keychain

No need to they had a recall for that too the cars kill themselves before they have the chance to drive you into a tree.
