just a quick question i have a 99 gt and am doing a l67 swap into it. i have a line on a 2003 gtp trannie with good miles if i grab his pcm as well will it be smooth sailing for my swap or will i encounter other issues .... i also have a dhp tuner for any pcm issues i might face later but I'll cross that bridge when it comes.....last question any recommended maintenance i could do to that transmission while it is out other than a transgo shift kit to help prolong its life i am camming and doing a pulley drop .....thanks in advance for any help

I can think of the hardened/updated 4th hub, probably some other things to change as preventive maintenance. If booba see this he would know hes only had his torn apart half a dozen times or more in the past month.

Edit: I can't remember if 03s had the hardened 4th or not.

if you look at where your shiftier cable hooks up at the tranny, and on the 03 tranny, if they are the same your good to go. as long as its a hd trans or you'll have to tune the gear change. if the shiftier hook up is different you can swap yours to the 03 tranny.

if i grab the pcm i should be fine or will it be necessary to switch the wiring like the write up on club gp regardless of pcm?

im pretty sure its easier to take the gtp pcm, and the wire harness off the gtp, and use it all in your car. if you have inspection you'll need to have the vin # in the pcm changed to yours. also a security learn, maybe a crank learn.

if not you need to change a pig tail or two or add one as well to make the bbv work right.

I think that 03+ also have the different EPC, right Bill? It wouldn't be all that hard to swap everything over, I think it would just be the valve body, possibly the channel plate too.
