2003 or 2004 grand prix?

Which one would last me longer? Or are they both just as good... because I've been seeing 2003 gp's for the same price or higher than 2004's in local listings. I do like the body style of the 97-03 better, but I'd want to go 2003 or newer and have it last as long as possible, but under $10,000. I have a 1997 GP 3.8L SE right now, it's awesome, but it's on it's way out with over 222,000kms. Is there any major differences between the 6th and 7th generation grand prix's?

yes the 97-03 gps have the L36(v6 N.A) or the L67(v6 s.c)
the 04-and up have the L26(v6 N.A), L32(s.c v6),or the Ls4(V8)
The comp G grand prix has cosmetic changes, 3.29 gearing, sport tuned suspension and tapshift. The 04 and up L32's have a little bit more power and Gen V supercharger which promotes better flow. As far as which one would last longer...that depends on what shape the car was in and who owned the car before.

Get a 97-03. And look for one that is being sold by a private party. You will pay out the but for one from a dealer. Like any other used car you buy from them.

Remember....There always making a profit...and a pretty big one...And they bought it from a private party. So as long as you find the right deal you will come out waaaay ahead.

I have seen some AWESOME deals on cars here in the classifieds section.
