Bought this Grand prix through an auction looking to rebuild it. Bought it last year but finally have time and funds to get it going.
Its a 2003 Grand prix SE with the 3.1 motor. Has 33,000 miles on it!! I recently replaced the cradle with all new suspension parts up front followed by an alignment. Needs a hood, fenders and bumper cover.
Today bought a bumper cover through a local junkyard for 20 bucks
yesterday bought a whole leather seat set from a 2005 grand prix. Black leather all the power and heated goods. Hopefully theyll match and look really good inside. Ill follow through with pictures and updates as i go along.
currently have a 01 grand prix SE with 160,xxx miles still going strong and getting 35mpgs on the freeway. Hopefully i can get this past 200,000 miles as well.
Frame was pushed over about 40mm, pulled it back in within specs of 3mm.
Depending on how everything goes, maybe doing a 3.8 supercharge motor swap but well see
