2002 heat blows cold air off and on.

In my 2002 with the non electronic dual climate control panel when I have the heat on the driver's side is fine but the passenger side goes from heat then you hear it get louder and switches to cold air and will sometimes go back to heat. Sometimes moving the slider down to cold then back to heat fixes it sometimes not. Vent actuator? Also blower settings 1 and 2 no longer work, I assume that's the blower motor resistor, but figured I'd add it in case the two are related.

Resistor and blender door is acting up.

Time to get under the dash and see what one is doing it.
